Alienware desktops have SSDs
More often than not, we find solid state drives in notebooks but Alienware has gone against the grain by releasing a gaming desktop with the option to include a 64GB solid state drive. This option will be made available to the Area-51 ALX and Aurora ALX systems and hope that this step will be the beginning of the end for hard drive for gamers. Great news, but that would mean gamers have to work much harder and save more in order to enjoy the advantages of extremely quick load times minus the burden of noise and potential unreliability. A couple of 64GB drives in a RAID 0 stripe offers a continuous 128GB of space. You'll need to fork out an additional $1,700 if you want to add in the SSD option. ( Add a comment, Search on eBay)
