Many cool Japanese gadgets don’t make it to the US, but fortunately for road warriors, the ScanSnap S300 did. When we posted about it for the first time on Oct 1st, we told you that it is a USB-powered scanner that could scan twice as fast when plugged to a wall socket. It measures 11.2” x 3.7” x 3.0” for 3.1lbs. Among its many features, the double-sided color scanning and bundled software caught our attention. If you need a mobile scanner, you should definitely look at the Fujitsu ScanSnap S300. Available on Nov 21 for $295. Full specs
