HTC Shift arrives in Europe
Oct 1, 07 06:59 PM PDT
The HTC Shift has arrived in Europe at a lavish launch event in London. Tipping the scales at just 800g, this small wonder is powered by Windows Vista and gives you the ability to access emails, calendar, text messages, as well as contacts in a cinch courtesy of HTC's SnapVUE technology that does away with the need to boot up the full OS. Features include a lovely 7" touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 30GB hard drive, tri-band HSDPA and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE. Connectivity options include WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0. Battery life is rated at 3 to 4 hours for full notebook usage, and 2 days for normal phone usage. It will retail for £835 (approximately $1,670).
