Oct 22, 07 02:38 AM PDT

The Nokia N81 8GB model is set to ship, aiming to converge both music and gaming on a single device. It will pioneer the 3D Multimedia Menu concept that could soon be the new Nokia N Series user interface. According to a Nokia representative, "Accessing your portable music and games collection is not enough anymore. Today people want to be more in control of how and where they consume their digital entertainment. They want to discover new favorites and share them without being confined to one location - and it's devices like the Nokia N81 that facilitate this." The gaming aspect of the N81 is provided by the N-Gage service that will be launched later this year. This 8GB handset will retail for 430 Euros before subsidies and taxes. Head on to the press release for more details. ( Add a comment, Search on eBay)
