PS3 also an IPTV Set-Top Box

While your PS3 is the most powerful of all current generation consoles, the sad fact is there aren't too many triple A titles to keep you coming back for more. Instead of putting all its raw computing power to waste, why not use it as an Internet-based TV service instead? KT in Korea has teamed up with Sony Computer Entertainment Korea to do just that, with the rollout happening this November. The PS3 console will function as a set-top box for KT’s Internet Protocol TV service (IPTV) which goes by the moniker Mega TV. There is no word on price plans at this point in time, but hopefully it won't be too burdensome on consumers.
Publisher's note: First Europe gets the TV recording feature, now Korea gets IPTV - What about US-based consumers? I've heard that TV recording is not coming anytime soon, let alone IPTV. Argh.
