Stainless Lollipop Against Bad Breath?

Not really in the consumer electronics, this ZiloPop could quickly bubble up to the top. According to the manufacturer/seller:

• “Smell Killer Zilopop removes even the strongest bad breath.”

• “This breath deodorizer works the same as any lollipop, with different results.”

Err… if someone out there tried it, can you post a comment? If it does, that’d be a killer swag for all the tech conferences.

Not having tried this personally, I can say that SS has been used for years as an odor killer for pealing garlic. If you're cheap and don't want to buy one of the expensive SS garlic odor killers, a standard SS sink will do. Just rub your fingers on the sink with some water running and it magically makes the garlic odor go away. I suppose this lollypop works the same way. Makes sense I guess.

There's nothing new to it. Here in Germany these things are sold since years. Some people swear it's working and I've seen a TV-report where every tester just put that thing on it's tongue - never played around with it in the mouth. I still don't know what to think about these.

Anybody else have implants? (Dental, you deviant!) They're titanium, including the little screws that you use to hold the ceramic tooth in place. Mixing different metals in your mouth can produce sensations from odd, wince-inducing tastes to mild electrical shock. The last thing I'm going to do is stick something metal in my mouth. Gum does the trick, and thanks to useful(?) science most of them no longer stick to dental work.

Keep the android lollipop, I've got my Orbit Wintermint.
