Yamaha BOBBY accesses the Internet
Who would've thought the day would come where an electric commuter vehicle would feature Internet connectivity? Yamaha's BOBBY prototype does just that, in addition to other hi-tech features such as turning it on or off simply by holding up your FeliCa-enabled cellphone to the switch. Other interesting developments include a collapsible seat, a fold-in rear wheel, handlebars and footrests for easy and convenient storage. Bear in mind the Yamaha BOBBY electric commuter vehicle with collapsible seat is but a prototype at this point in time, so don't rush out and place an order just yet. It would be nice to have one of these in highly urban areas though.
