Elmo gets Extra Special Edition

Thanks for keeping this posting on your sight. We had lost our instructions and the url for the "official" website for Tickle Me Elmo TMX. It's been great fun putting Elmo through ALL his paces, since we hadn't memorized all 6 "tricks" before misplacing the web address.

for clue #4 his left and right foot are switched, so when rotating his feet it's his left foot first, then right, then left

#4 - lay elmo on his back-turn him on-raise his left foot and lower his right foot at same time (his feet will go back to their original position on their own)-raise his right foot and lower his left foot at the same time-raise his left foot and lower his right foot at the same time-tickle elmo's chin and he laugh crazily.

OK People, Man your Elmos!

In sequence, I suggest you do the three normal tickles first, just to get yourself warmed up!

Clue 1 - Song and dance
(a) Switch on, standing up.
(b) Arm over his head
(c) Tickle belly
(d) Sing along

Clue 2 – Hiccups
(a) Off, standing up.
(b) Arm up over head
(c) Head down to toes
(d) Arm down to toes
(e) Switch on
(f) Tickle left foot

Clue 3 – Noises
(a) Off, standing up
(b) Arm up over head
(c) Lay flat down on tummy
(d) Switch on
(e) Tickle left foot

Clue 4 –Sit-ups
(a) Lay flat on back, feet towards you
(b) Switch off
(c) Switch on. On next moves be careful not to tickle Elmo’s foot
(d) Rotate his right foot up and left foot down at same time and then let go (Elmo puts feet back)
(e) Rotate his left foot up and right foot down at same time and then let go (Elmo puts feet back)
(f) Rotate his right foot up and left foot down at same time and then let go (Elmo puts feet back)
(g) Tickle Chin

Clue 5 – Question
(a) Off standing up
(b) Switch on
(c) Arm up over head
(d) Head down to toes
(e) Tickle foot

Clue 6 – Cold Hands
(a) Switch off
(b) Lay flat on back
(c) Arm up over head
(d) Sit up to head on toes
(e) Arm down to toes (leave arm alone then!)
(f) Switch on
(g) Lie down flat
(h) Sit up
(i) Lie down flat
(j) Arm down to his side
(k) Stand him up
(l) Tickle tummy

#4 When you do it Elmo says "Where did everybody go" and then when you stand him back up he says "There you are"

I didnt get clue #4 yet, but here are the rest:

Make Elmo Sing: Raise his right arm, and press his belly.

Hiccups: Turn Elmo off. Sit him down. Place his right hand on his foot. Now turn him on. Press the button on his left foot.

Funny Noises: Turn him off. Raise his right hand. Lay him face down on the floor. Turn him on and tickle his left foot.

Question: Turn Elmo off. Raise his right hand. Bend his upper body down, so his face touches his feet. Turn him on and tickle left foot.

Cold hands: (This one was kinda tough) Turn Elmo off. Sit him up. Rest his hand on his foot. Turn him on. Lay him down, and then sit up again. Lay down one more time, and place his arm on the floor (while still laying down) Stand him up and tickle his belly.

PLEASE share your answer to number four. Its the only one I cant get!!

i cant figure out clue #4 can anyonw help ugh!!!!

PLEASE!!! Is there anyone out there who has figured out clue 4??

To get him to say cold hands which is clue #6 you have to do the following:
While he's in the standing position, turn him off
Raise his arm and sit him down so his face touches his toes, then put his arm down to touch his toe. Turn him back on and lie him back(don't mess with his arm). Sit him up and then lay him back down. Move him arm down to the floor and then stand him up and tickle his belly. It should work. Took me a few tries but I was trying to move his arms when I wasn't suppose to.

how do you make elmo say cold hands? i cant seem to get it to work even when i follow the directions.

For #6:

Turn Elmo off, sit him on the floor with his hand touching his toes. Then turn him back on, lie him back flat on the floor, and then do a sit-up with him and lie him back and put his arm back down. then stand him up and tickle his tummy.

You have to perform the steps rather quick, so it's better to read em a couple times first. Took me a few tries before I could get him to do it.

I need clues 4 and 6! I can't figure them out!

Help!! I figured all the clues out except 6. Now elmo will not sit down!

Clue 5:
(1) Turn Elmo off
(2) Lift arm
(3) Bend Elmo over so his head is at his feet (Don't move his hand to touch feet, just move its body down to his feet)
(4) Turn Elmo on
(5) Tickle his foot

did anyone figure out clue number 4 and 6 i need help bad i am going crazy trying to figure it out

I figured out the hickups and the dance to maniac as well as the where is everyone. how do I get the other three to work, can't seem to get them to function.

cant get him to hicup please help only got him to sing and the funny sound and when he says where did you go or whatever please help me i am lost

When u do the hiccup at the end before u touch his foot u turn him off and on 2 times

how do you do clue number six really sounds easy but have not figured it out

you raise his hand straight in the air and press his tummy .you may need to turn him off then back on

This is how you make elmo hiccup.First you turn him off then lift his arm straight up,then you sit him down with his arm straight up in the air after you sit him down put his arm down turn him off then back on and press his foot and he should hiccup for you

For Elmo to say "cold hands", Turn him off, then on, lift arm up, sit him down, touch "lower" tummy

Krystal did you try changing the batteries it helped me. Also did you try shutting Elmo off each time. Hope I helped

Can anyone help me? I have done all he clues and the only one that worked was #1. When I do #2 he falls back makes a noise and then he moves his arm up and down then he just lays on his back and just laughs. I have made him sing once and dance and I havent done it since. I really think I got a bad elmo. Everyone is sold out and I hope someone can help me out. Thanks

Clue 1: Raise his arm to his head and press his belly.

Clue 2: Switch Elmo off, raise his arm, make him sit down, make his arm touch his toes, then switch him on again and press his left foot.

Clue 3: Put Elmo face-down and put his arm in front of him and tickle his left foot.

hi i found another clue. first raise his hand, make him bend over so he's still standing but his head is touching his feet, then press his feet. he says "hey where did everyone go?" its pretty funny. have fun

for the crazy sound extra spesial move turn off elmo put arm up lay him on the ground belly down turn him on and press his foot have funn . its pretty cute

To make Elmo sing and dance to I'm a maniac do the following:
1) Lift Elmo's right arm so it's pointing towards the ceiling
2) Tickle in the stomach

#3 lay him on the floor with his hand in front of him then tickle his left foot

Thank you I'm been trying to make him hipcup and couldn't figure it out. I keep going to fisher price and they haven't changed from the 1st clue

To make Elmo hiccup 1.turn off 2.lift arm 3.sit Elmo down and lean him forward making his arm touch his toes 4.turn on and press his left foot.

If you can not find this item in normal toy stores, Babies R Us has them and may not sell out as fast as other stores... It also seems that we do not have any limit to how many you can buy.
