HD DVD players get even cheaper
Nov 1, 07 10:11 PM PDT

Remember the $199 HD DVD players from Toshiba? While that sounds cheap to many (including myself), there is an even cheaper solution which can be accessed via a "secret" website. It seems that there will be a $99 HD DVD player on sale tomorrow, so make sure you fight your way through legions of folks from 8am onwards if you're hankering after some high definition goodness in the living room. It will be the same Toshiba HD-A2 that is being offered by Wal-Mart, save for the further 50% reduction in price. Will this be a turning point agains the Blu-ray juggernaut? ( Add a comment)
