iD Softtware could grace Nintendo DS

The Nintendo DS is definitely one gaming platform that has seen many different genres converge, save for the FPS area which is severely lacking in quality titles. Thankfully, FPS pioneer iD software could be working on a Wolfenstein 3D and Doom version for the portable DS platform. This is but a speculation after Katherine Anna Kang and head honcho John Carmack revealed that they were working on a cellphone version of Wolfenstein and have interest in programming a simultaneous cellphone/DS release of the game, with Doom DS being a distinct possibility. Good times are ahead for DS owners - I can just smell it. In the meantime, there is always the sugar-coated Mario Party DS to get your game on.
