KillaCycle breaks world record
Nov 14, 07 05:39 AM PDT
The KillaCycle has just pushed the boundaries of speed even further by breaking its own world record for being the fastest in an electric quarter-mile drag. It managed to set the new official ¼ mile record by clocking 7.991 seconds at 168mph, hitting an amazing 0-60mph time in under 1 second. All this without a drop of gas - instead, it uses 1210 A123 cells that weigh 186 pounds, capable of deliver over 500 horsepower with a larger 27" tire to provide contact with the road. Now this is one bike I don't mind having, but unfortunately it might be a wee bit too fast for my reflexes to handle. [Press Release]
