Just in case you think your portable hard drive is pretty spiffy, along come those from Asia that does more than just store your data within. These newfangled portable hard drives do not only play processer-intensive formats like XviD, DivX, and DVD MPEG-2 files, but it also boasts an SD memory card slot as well as OTG capabilities. The latter is but a USB port that makes it a cinch to transfer files from virtually any USB storage device directly to the hard drive without the need for a computer. There are similar hard drives such as the one described here throughout Asia, and they are marketed under different brand names with Gemini and Consus being a couple of them. Surprisingly, these portable hard drives won't hit your pocket too hard with prices falling between the $46 and $66 range.
