Redline receives FCC nod for WiMAX gear
Posted on Nov 16, 07 08:12 AM PDT
Redline Communications have received the FCC's approval for its RedMAX AN-100U WiMAX base station in the US, making it the first 3.65 GHz WiMAX product to be approved for operation here. This will enable operators in the country to deploy WiMAX services using the newly-available 3.65 GHz spectrum. That's really sweet, but what about other WiMAX devices that ought to be released in order to take advantage of the WiMAX spectrum? How much longer do we need to wait for these to arrive, or must we actually go import some from Korea? [Press Release]
