Rumor of new Sony Ericsson phones
Nov 4, 07 08:06 PM PDT
The elves are certainly working overtime in the grapevine, with word being spread that November 6th will see a trio of new handsets hitting the market, where each individual phone will come with a unique feature that will set it apart from the rest of the competition. The 3G-capable SE W890i is first off the blocks with an accelerometer, a 3.2 megapixel camera and a spanking new version of Sony’s Walkman media player software. As for the mid-range W380i, this Walkman phone will boast "gesture control" - presumably working somewhat like the Sansa Shaker. As for the K600i, this will be an Internet-centric handset that enables you to surf the Web in both portrait and landscape modes via an on-screen cursor. Best wait till November 6th to see if I can discard this pinch of salt between my fingers now.
