I bought myself and my kids these helmets and I gotta say, they are the best pieces of kit I've come across. We used them in March in Andora/ Scottish Highlands in Januarry and April - and we couldn't fault them. The helmet's are that light and comfortable you'd hardly know you were wearing one. As for speaking through it - and hearing other folk - that's just not a problem, my kids were getting lessons and they had no problems hearing their instructors, or conversing with their instructors. And as for the face-mask, if you don't need to wear it, you just unclip it and shove it your pack. Simple as that.
The goggles, mask and helmet fit together seamlessly, no freezing cold wind biting at your face, no icy snow-flakes stinging your cheeks, and no matter what the conditions, the goggles just don't mist up. Just a nice flow of cool fresh air coming through the vent system. I don't know how they got all this together, but it does exactly what it says it does, they're just awesome.
The helmets have passed all the European, and American safety tests - which are extremely stringent, and where my kids safety is concerned that was a major factor in buying them protective headgear.
The helmets are also being used for mountain-biking, skiing and more and more other action sports. And if that wasn't cool enough, the Red Bull Formula 1 racing team have now got their whole pit-crew kitted out in these helmets. This is one neat product.
Oh yeah, just one more thing, the next time you're on the top of a mountain and you've got your face all wrapped up in an ice-encrusted scarf and your goggles are all fogged up from your sweaty head and breathing, you're gonna wish you'd invested in a decent bit of head gear - especially when you can't see where you're going and you get that tree branch, slalem pole or another boarder smacked right across your jaw. Get safe dudes, and do it in style
