Tangent VITA K Series

Tangent launched a new group of ultra slim, industrial strength touch screen PCs known as the VITA K Series. Not only do they come in rugged metal enclosures that is attention grabbing, the VITA K PCs are also energy efficient, and industrial strength, making it ideal for healthcare, industrial automation, digital signage, information kiosk, self-service check-outs and other applications normally exposed to hostile environments. These green PCs boast dust-free, water-proof front bezels, VESA wall-mount brackets, a choice between 15", 17" or 19" LCD displays with NEMA 3/IP 55 dust and water proof specifications. In addition, they are equipped with a high brightness TFT panel and resistive SAW touch. You have an Intel Pentium M 1.80GHz processor running within, consuming a mere 19 watts of power in standby mode and 57 watts in the "on" position. WiFi connectivity, touchscreen driver software, and a cash drawer port rounds off the list of specifications. The VITA K PCs retail from $1,700 upwards. [Press Release]
