Taser-proof gear to be patented
Posted on Nov 2, 07 10:24 AM PDT
Somebody has gone through the trouble to apply for a patent for an "energy weapon protection device", which means you could soon see Taser-proof gear being sold at a retail store near you. Not too sure whether this patent will be approved or not, or else the peacekeeping forces in our country will have to find a different method to neutralize threats in high tension situations.

They will just go back to using steel extendable batons to go rodneyking on anyone who resists in any possible way (including passive resistance). I would think that the po po's would be all up in the air over this kind of product!
ANd cops have used tasers on young children, old women, wheelchair-bound people, mentally handicapped persons etc. etc., just because they refused to obey a command.... not neccessarily being a threat or violent. Passive resistance like simply doing nothing (being still & not following a cop's orders) can get you tasered these days.
