10.4-inch color flexible display

Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) has jut rolled out its latest flexible display technology - a 10.4" color cholesteric LCD (Ch-LC) flexible display. Ditching glass substrate in favor of a couple of plastic substrates, the 10.4" color flexible display features a thickness of less than 10mm. Its structure design was specially made to be thin and light, reducing its thickness to 50% of that of standard color Ch-LCD displays. It also comes with an NTSC color gamut of 57% as claimed by ITRI. No idea on when this will roll out for commercial applications.
