Asus U2 ultra-portable laptop

Asus is coming up with the U2, an elegant 11.1” laptop that is designed to be lighter and more power efficient. It has a LED backlit display, which is lighter and less power-hungry. But may be the most important part if saving battery life is the 32GB solid-state drive (SSD). With no mechanical parts, it consumes less than a disk-based drive. It is slightly lighter too.

In the end, the Asus U2 weighs a mere 2.75lbs – not bad at all!
