Cricket launches Samsung SCH-R610

Cricket has just made available the Samsung SCH-R610 handset to Cricket customers, featuring a high resolution 262k color TFT display, EVDO: CDMA 800/PCS 1900MHz, a built-in MP3 player, a microSD memory card slot, BREW 3.14, a 1.3 megapixel camera, WAP 2.0, stereo Bluetooth connectivity and a loud, clear speaker phone. All these are crammed in a package that measures 4.06" x 1.96" x 0.5" while tipping the scales at 2.92 ounces. The Samsung SCH-R610 has a talk time of up to 3 hours and a standby time of up to 350 hours. Interested parties will be able to pick up the SCH-R610 for $249.99 from selected Cricket retail stores and Cricket dealers.

Nice phone except I find that if you are right handed it is to
easy to press the end key with your thumb when sliding the
phone up to answer a call.Result you lose a lot of calls accidently.

i cant get the mp3s to go on my phone i bought the usb cord and i use the sync function on windows media player but it still wont work

This phone blew up! no serious I pluged in the wall and it melted. Do not buy this phone its dangerous

my bluetooth will add devices but when i try connecting or recieving a file, it will not work. help?

could someone tell me if they can use the mp3 player when the phone is slid shut and if they have problems sending text messages and if the t9 dictionary works on words more the 2 letters
i have had this phone for a month and in the last week i have lost my mind

I love my new Samsung r610. I call it the Transformer slide. The resolution is killer and I can check email and just do all kinds of things with this baby. Now they need to come out with a really nice slide case for it.
