Epoq Nextgen 4GB PMP
Posted on Dec 27, 07 11:05 AM PDT

We got word that this Epoq 4GB PMP was going to be demoed at CES 2008. It has a clean design and a light weight: 90g. I don’t see MPEG4 in the list of supported format (or DivX), so you’ve been warned. The Epoq reminds me a little of the Olympus m:robe 500, that turned out to be a flop.

I made the big mistake of buying one of these and had to return as quickly I got it. It is made in CHINA and bought by and marketed as EPOQ. I could not get it to work at all since the device had a terrible manual. The device used Chinese software which cannot be read by a MAC, (says it can in the companies description) and the conversion software has some glitches due to the Chinese.
I searched on the net to find out more about this device since it comes with no serial numbers and no company name so you cannot register it for repairs and found that it is made by Vistar in China for about $40 dollars and passed on to us by Epoq in Florida for twice or three times the price. IT is junk ...stay away
Check vistartech.com and you will see how we are being duped by our own USA companies

Sorry if this is an odd question, but has anyone been able to find the website for this Epoq company? I recently purchased an Epoq MP4 Watch, and the instructions are in really bad english. I havent been able to find the manufacturer's website for assistance. Can anyone find them? Any help is appreciated in advance.
