Garmin will be releasing its Colorado 400 BlueChart soon, targeting the fishing industry along with other small boats. Features are pretty mediocre - a 240 x 400 color LCD display, an iPod-like control mechanism known as "Rock n Roller" and a short-range ANT wireless link that lets you share maps and geocache points. Following tradition, the Colorado 400 BlueChart will get the same ruggedized treatment as with other outdoor Garmin units. An altimeter and a compass rounds off the list of features. The Colorado 400 will retail for $600 and come pre-loaded with sea maps for the US (including Alaska and Hawaii) as well as extra room for additional maps on SD memory cards. Looks somewhat akin to the Colorado 300 leak we saw yesterday.
