Gateway XHD3000 LCD monitor

Gateway has unveiled its Extreme HD 30" LCD monitor that goes by the model number XHD3000. It is a full HD display that claims to upscale 1080p movies to 1600p - but unfortunately that doesn't matter since you will need at least a 46" display to view the full beauty of 1080p alone. The XHD3000 retails for $1,699 and features multiple inputs, Picture-in-Picture, as well as a speedy video processor. Get this only if you want to work with a really large monitor, otherwise a standard 24" widescreen LCD display ought to do just fine.
