JVC HP-FX500 goes all wooden
Posted on Dec 27, 07 10:07 AM PDT
JVC's HP-FX500 earphones come in wood - a rather unique material considering how everyone else is using plastic these days. According to JVC, the use of wood enhances audio quality, but that remains to be tested. Do you think it is but a psychological advantage? In any case, each pair retails for approximately €100 which is rather pricey, not to mention it being more flammable than ordinary plastic.

More flammable? Yeah, Don't you just hate it when your earbuds burst into flames.
