Nokia lets Apple in on Ovi
Dec 27, 07 03:23 AM PDT
Nokia has welcomed Apple by allowing them to collaborate on Ovi, Nokia's upcoming web portal. According to Anssi Vanjoki of Nokia, "In Finnish, Ovi means door. And our door is open. Of course, Apple can get into our portal. We even invite (Apple Inc chief executive) Steve Jobs to do so." Do you think that Steve Jobs will accept this invitation, or will he maintain Apple's closed system where their popular products (iTunes and the like) are concerned? All in all, depending on how you read the invitation, it could be a veiled jibe at Apple or a genuine invite.
