PMP concept without touchscreen
Posted on Dec 7, 07 07:08 AM PDT

While the "touching" concept seems to be the natural choice in evolution where mobile devices are concerned, this concept portable media player does the opposite by featuring analog controls. Designed by Mathieu Pesme and Jeff Castel, you get a sub-surface OLED widescreen display, and the dropped bevel around the bezel for you to wind up your headphones in is a nice touch. A tactile control wheel and integrated stereo speakers round off the list of features. Too bad this is but a concept, so you can forget about picking one up in the real world anytime soon.
