Podium Model 1 flat panel speakers

The Podium Model 1 flat panel speakers do not look like speakers at all, but instead will probably be mistaken for a lowly room divider instead. Retailing for a whopping $8,000 per pair, the Podium 1 speakers radiate sound from both front and rear surfaces, and audio emitted from it sounds more like live music than anything else. Looks pretty thin to me by any means, and chances are I wouldn't want to have kids around this as they might just take a pencil and poke holes in it without realizing the amount of damage, both monetary and emotionally, they have done.
