Ringboxx for your home phone
Posted on Dec 3, 07 08:36 PM PDT

If you think you have a pretty phat cellphone ringtone and wish the same could be said for your home phone, that wish can now come true with the Ringboxx. This $50 device is hooked up to your home phone, and you get to choose from thousands of actual songs to accompany an incoming call. It doesn't accept any random MP3s though, as you will need to hook it up to a PC beforehand, sync it to the Ringboxx site and download ringtones from there. Heck, you can even assign different tones to different callers and numbers. Each purchase comes with 5 free credits, where each ringtone will cost you around 2 to 3 credits. Additional credits can be purchased for a dollar each. Just make sure you turn off the ringer in your phone to avoid a mess of sounds whenever somebody dials your home phone.
