Tomato D-18 USB hard drive
Posted on Dec 12, 07 02:06 AM PDT

The Tomato D-18 USB hard drive is one of the weirder names around where hard drives are concerned, but this tiny wonder features a 1.8" 60GB magnetic hard drive that measures less than a third of an inch thick (or thin, depending on how you look at it). Connected to the computer via a USB cable, the Tomato D-18 comes with a trio of LEDs to indicate different status at the moment. It does look as though the hard drive can be replaced or upgraded, but the $110 price slapped on the Tomato D-18 is pretty decent considering how 1.8" 80GB hard drives alone are already being sold in the region of $90.
