Posted on Dec 6, 07 07:35 AM PDT
Datastick Systems has launched its VSA-1225 Vibration Spectrum Analyzer, making it the first of its kind on the Windows Mobile/Pocket PC platform. This PDA-based vibration analyzer/data collector comes with the latest version 1.8 of the Datastick Spectrum software suite and allows companies to use vibration analysis in machine condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and routine troubleshooting without sending costs spiraling through the roof. Each VSA-1225 package comprises of Datastick hardware and software, a HP iPAQ handheld computer as well as one or more sensors. The hardware module is attached onto the HP iPAQ hx2400-series or hx2700-series PDA, using a standard BNC connector and a very low-noise input. Guess PDAs still have some life left in them eh.
