Xbox 360 gets Family Timer
Posted on Dec 4, 07 06:44 PM PDT
For parents who want to keep closer tabs on their kids where video game playing time is concerned, the Xbox 360 Family Timer is now available for download via Xbox LIVE in 26 countries. This feature allows parents to set the amount of gaming and entertainment time on the console, which can be divided into daily and weekly basis. I guess this will show how the kids want to prioritize their time - some might blow their entire week's quota in a single day, while others prefer the benefits of delayed gratification, getting their kicks in only on the weekends or after they're done with their homework. Parents ought not to plead ignorance any more when their kids' grades in school start to slip next year after getting the Xbox 360 this holiday season.
