Altec Lansing T612 Speaker Dock

Looks like iPhone and iPod owners have yet another speaker dock to choose from thanks to Altec Lansing and its T612 speaker dock which was released at the recently concluded CES 2008. What makes this speaker dock special for the iPhone is the fact that you can use it as a rather bulky hands free unit whenever there is an incoming call on your iPhone, interrupting the current playing song long enough until you (or the caller, whoever comes first) hang(s) up. According to the press release, Altec Lansing's effort makes the T612 the first dock of its kind to be able to function that way with the iPhone, and I am very sure it won't be the last either. There is no word on pricing, but if you base it on history, the T612's predecessor went for £140.
