Dell Denies Mobile World Congress Joint Google Announcement Rumor
Jan 31, 08 02:54 PM PDT

Dell has responded to rumors suggesting that it will co-announce something with google at Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress. A spokesperson for Dell said that Dell won’t even attend the show (well, they don’t sell phones…) and has no products to announce there.
Observers point out that Dell did not say that it was not working with Google or that it does intend to enter the cellphones space. If you missed it, the rumor started in the UK when a magazine suggested that Dell would enter the cellphone space using the Google Android OS, rather than Windows Mobile
