[PMA 2008] Fujifilm will introduce its new entry-level compact digital camera next week at PMA. The FinePix J10 is equipped with an 8.2-MegaPixel CCD sensor, a 2.5” LCD and a 3x Fujinon optical zoom (38mm-113mm equivalent), and the FinePix J50 has the same resolution but features a high resolution 2.7”, 230K pixel LCD and a Fujinon 5x optical zoom (37mm-185mm equivalent). Both models have image stabilization, which prevents blurry pictures. The J10 captures VGA and QVGA quality movie clips and J50 captures QVGA quality, both at 30 frames per second with sound.
The FinePix J10 (Matte Black or Silver) and FinePix J50 (Brushed Silver) will be available in March 2008 with retail prices of $149.95 and $179.95, respectively. Technical specifications in the full article.
