Gefen aims to solve your HDMI headaches thanks to its new switchbox that allows you to automatically switch between four HDMI inputs and forwarding signals through to a solitary input. This allows one to restore the last video choice automatically at the time of power down whenever a particular unit powers back up. For control freaks, fret not. Gefen has thrown in a tiny handheld remote to go nuts with. The box not only switches signals, it also amplifies them and passes on HDCP encoding. Gefen is currently making this unit available for $199.
