HP Compaq dc5800 Business PC

HP announced its dc5800 Business PC that goes about its job in a quiet and, er, business-like manner without much fanfare. Not only does it help get your work done in the quickest time possible, the dc5800 is also environmentally friendly (at least much better than those high powered behemoths which hardcore gamers use). Available in either a small form factor or microtower PC designs, the dc5800 will come with Intel's next-generation chipset and processors in addition to the SURVEYOR power management software agent that assists dc5800 customers in reducing processor heat and energy costs. Security is provided in the form of embedded TPM 1.2 for enhanced data protection. The HP Compaq dc5800 is tipped to ship on February 11 with prices starting from $579 upwards. [Press Release]
