HTC Touch Sold More Than 2 Million

Even if it is way behind the iPhone, hitting the two million mark is quite an achievement for any mobile phone (ask Motorola). The HTC Touch has been one of the most successful HTC phones ever, mainly because it is aimed at the consumer market and not the professional one. And it’s true that this is an interesting phone, as long as you don’t have to type emails on the tiny virtual keyboard. I personally prefer the HTC Touch Dual, which has a sliding keyboard in addition of the touch screen. Congrats HTC! Htc.com

This is certainly no small achievement from HTC, I agree.

2 million? That's a lot for HTC. Consider this, with its mighty marketing power and religious-like following, Apple sold 4 million iPhone. I highly doubt that the money HTC spent on design/development and marketing is anywhere near 50% of Apple's spending.
