HydroPak portable power generator

[CES 2008] The HydroPak is one interesting device, being a portable power generator that incorporates a special water-activated cartridge system, bringing Horizon's fuel cells and Millennium Cell's Hydrogen on Demand storage technology in a single package. The HydroPak system has the following features :-

• Provides infinite shelf life and enough energy to recharge an average notebook computer 8 to 10 times
• Can run indoors with quiet operation and zero harmful emissions
• Is quieter, lighter and smaller than generators
• Stores more energy than possible with batteries
• Has a lower cost than any similar fuel cell device

The HydroPak will make its debut at CES 2008 and works great to charge and/or operate low power devices like portable lights, notebooks and portable TVs among others for over 14 non-stop hours when required. It will cost approximately $400 for the HydroPak, while disposable cartridges will retail for $20. [Press Release]
