iRiver eBook Coming Soon?
Jan 14, 08 08:40 AM PDT

iRiver is reportedly working on an eBook concept that would also allow hand-writing notes. The concept in the photo is an interesting rendering, but we will have to see how it performs, if the idea comes to fruition. Many of us would like to see a connected device like the Kindle, with better distribution software (like iTunes) and an easier way to get free content, compared to emailing PDF files to the device.
I’m pretty sure that iRiver can create a wonderful device, but I’m not so confident in their capacity to build the distribution medium or negotiate with a wireless carrier… Hey, may be WiFi would be a good start.
