Luna X2 from XtremeMac

Macworld is the platform where XtremeMac rolled out its Luna X2 alarm clock - a new version of its award winning device that comes with iPod compatibility along with purported high-end audio performance that is music to your ears. The Luna X2 boasts personalized sleep and waking environments, featuring dual alarms which can be independently set to sound to your iPod, radio or buzzer. I also like the fact that the display's brightness can be controlled, lowered at night and brighten whenever the alarm sounds. The Luna X2 will be available at retail outlets in the coming weeks, but you can place a pre-order for $119.95 today. How many of you out there use your iPod to wake yourself up each morning?

I think xtrememac have something to answer for. How dare they "release" this product at the Macworld conference and then fail to deliver it. They claim its award winning, and yet, none have ever hit the retail shelves (or on their online store shelves for that matter). They fail to respond to requests for updates on this product or update the general public. I might as well make up some device from polystyrene and packing boxes and then market it to the world. Award winning!! Shame Shame shame.
