Posted on Jan 23, 08 09:27 PM PDT

Microsoft and Dell have pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds sold for each (Product) RED item to HIV-prevention and treatment initiatives for kids and adults in the form of Global Fund grants. From Dell's side, we get the (Product) RED XPS M1530 and XPS M1330 notebooks, the XPS One All-in-One PC, and a 948 all-in-one printer. They won't run on just any version of Windows - no sir, these will be using a special version of Windows Vista Ultimate that comes with special gadgets, screen backgrounds and screen savers. Each laptop sold will see $50 being donated, although the XPS One gives out $30 more on top of that. Go ahead - buy one of these today and feel good knowing you have helped in some way to join the fight against HIV.
