Microtek has announced its ArtixScanDI 4020 flatbed scanner that claims to pack in plenty of bang for your buck with the following specifications :-

  • Scan Area: 8.5" x 14"
  • Optical Resolution: 600 x 1200 dpi
  • Scan Speed: 40ppm/66ipm for black and white, 40ppm/58ipm for grayscale, 26ppm/33ipm for color
  • Automatic Document Feeder: 100-page capacity for legal, letter, A4/A6 sizes
  • Interface: Hi-Speed USB 2.0
  • Platform: PC, Windows 2000/XP/Vista
The Microtek ArtixScanDI 4020 will retail for a shade under the $1,000 mark and is readily available.
