National Geographic iGen NV20/20
Posted on Jan 8, 08 04:15 PM PDT
[CES 2008] National Geographic came up with a night scope last year known as the iGen, and this time they have released an update, boasting night vision technology that snaps photos as well. Black and white images are stored on an SD memory card (no SDHC, but then again I doubt you will be capturing lots of images with this thing) so budding voyeurs who love to stalk lovers walking hand-in-hand in a park at night will probably love to get their hands on this $450 device. Of course, being a NatGeo product, this would be best suited for watching animals rather than humans mate after dusk ;) More specifications are as follows :-
- Ambient light amplification of 650 times
- Functions in both day and night
- Variable Frame Rate (from 2 fps to 30 fps)
- Infrared Intelligence (3 modes)
- Enhanced Infrared sensitivity
- Variable Display Brightness
- Color output choices
- Video composite output
