New weapon against drunk drivers
Posted on Jan 3, 08 12:54 PM PDT

Those who think they're bulletproof after having a smashing time at the local pub ought to toe the line. The HawkEye law enforcement system has just been awarded a couple of separate patents by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. HawkEye is slowly but surely gaining favor with the authorities as they use it more and more at sobriety-check points and field evaluation sites. You can check out the HawkEye video portal for more information. Just remember folks, each time you want to head out and have a fun time with your mates, do bring along a designated driver.
