Opera Browser Coming To The iPhone (video)

[CES 2008] The folks at Opera were nice enough to confirm the soon availability of the Opera browser for the Apple iPhone.

It's not like they're rebuilding it from scratch, and they can't just say: "that's it, we give up". Opera will learn a lot about tactile user interface by doing this and the experience could be very valuable for devices that have a less fortunate web support.

Why would opera develop a browser for the best web browser already on the iPhone ?
