Pioneer MEP-7000 Pro DJ device

Pioneer has released its MEP-7000 device that targets the modern DJ who loathes to carry around a large stack of vinyls and regular CDs to a set. It comes with dual DVD drives, enabling the DJ to make full use of traditional audio CDs in addition to AAC and MP3 tracks. The inclusion of USB ports also enable flash drives, external hard drives and other removable storage to be used whenever one wants to play and mix music. Should you hook up the MEP-7000 to a Windows-based PC, you get direct control over Pioneer's very own DJ software. The MEP-7000 can also be used independently, whereby its 4.3" LCD display functions as a command center whilst the two OLED screens offer pitch and miscellanous track information for both sources in a mix. The Pioneer MEP-700 will ship this June for $2,299.

Gary look at it like this, That player plays CDS, Karaoke, Video, has usb for flash or external so thats another unit, and it has the ability to be a midi controller. Go find 5 units with that much technology. You wont even be close to that price.

This idea solves many problems for me.

When I go out to a mobile gig, I have limited space - so CDJs in a coffin are out of the question. But if I could fit them in the car and had the money, I would.

So to now have CDJs effectivly in a 19" Rackmount, with a reasonable price, is music to my ears. I have a few questions though, like:

Is the jog dial as accurate as a CDJ deck?

And how stable is all of the flash drive capability?

As a perfectionist, I would like to have the gear without fear of skiping, latency or any other problems. Has anyone had the pleasure of trying these yet?
