SanDisk 12GB microSDHC hit the streets
Posted on Jan 7, 08 01:16 PM PDT

[CES 2008] SanDisk is once again on the forefront of things where flash memory is concerned, releasing the first 12GB microSDHC memory card in the world. I guess cellphones in the coming year that boast more and more multimedia capabilities while supporting this memory standard will find an additional 12GB of portable memory handy. I'd make a backup of all my data on this if I were you - carrying something as small as my fingernail that holds important data is certainly nothing to joke about, especially when you lose it on your travels. It will be available in Q1 2008, although SanDisk has not attached any retail pricing to it just yet.

NICE!!! But is it just me, or are MicroSD cards growing in capacity faster than MiniSD cards?
