SanDisk Rolls Out Ultra II 32GB SDHC Card
Jan 31, 08 11:59 PM PDT

Looks like Kingston is a little bit late to the party, with SanDisk having beaten them to a 32GB SDHC card with its Ultra II line. Some of the features you get with this new SDHC Ultra II card include both read and write speeds of 15MB/s. With 32GB of storage space, it makes it easier to store ever increasing amounts of data even on a digital camera - remember the good old days where 128MB was such a big deal? How time flies. Each purchase of the Ultra II 32GB SDHC card will be accompanied by a SanDisk MicroMate USB 2.0 Reader that retails for $20, making it instantly backwards compatible with virtually any computer. It won't be cheap though, as the Ultra II 32GB SDHC card bundle is going for $349.99, while the 16GB version is priced at $179.99.
