scanR Application Converts Docs Into PDFs
Posted on Jan 31, 08 09:01 AM PDT

scanR has developed an imaging technology that turns printed color documents which were captured on a cell phone (of decent megapixel count, I might add) into PDF format. This is different from what we currently have, since today's technology requires color documents to be converted into a black-and-white format before the text can be distinguished from the photographs. Since scanR's new application takes a different route, it is capable of recording characters even in color. Pretty neat, huh?
