Seagate PipelineHD Series
Jan 17, 08 09:00 AM PDT

Seagate has debuted its PipelineHD hard disk drive series that was specially designed to be used in digital video recorders (DVRs). Shipping of this new line will commence sometime in the first half of this year, bringing a wide range of capacities ranging from 320GB to 1TB to suit different needs and situations. For the record, 1TB can roughly store 200 hours of high-definition TV content and five times that length for standard-definition TV content. Features include quiet operation with very low noise, making this a potentially ideal candidate for your living room or bedroom.
